Belonging to a Masters Swimming team is what Masters swimming is all about - its no fun swimming alone. If there is no Masters Swimming team in your area, consider starting one and if you find yourself from out of town and want to get some training in, be sure to tell the pool custodian or coach present that you are a Masters swimmer.

A team name is essential and its fun to have custom coloured swim gear adorned with your team name. For T-shirts however, you might want to add a catch phrase with your logo and to give you some ideas, the following have been suggested on the net to get you started :

  • "Fast girls have good times"
  • "Just looking for a good time"
  • "Cheat on your girlfriend not on your workout"
  • "Pain is your body's reminder that you are still alive"
  • "If you can't swim with the big fish, stay in the Aquarium"
  • "No coach can create a workout that we can't loaf"
