Whilst women can certainly understand the value of a hug better than men, I'm sure everyone will agree that we all need to give and receive hugs.
Hugging cures depression, it reduces stress, its invigorating, its rejuvenating and it is therefore healthy since it can generate plenty of pleasant side effects.

So how do you hug your coach? Well, you should not just grab your coach since they would probably respond by fending you off. You have to ask your coach beforehand with something like "I'm offering hugs today which I'm sure will lighten your load a little - would you like a hug?" or "You look like you could use a hug today so I'm offering you one!".
Just remember, everyone needs 1 hug for survival, 2 for maintenace and 3 for growth each day! |
