Swimming styles are not intuitive for everyone so regular practice and training is necessary to improve the different combinations of arm, head, body and leg action which will ultimately reap the benefit of improving your times.
Training aids are indispensable in developing your swimming, varying the workout and providing new challenges. A selection of aids for Masters Swimmers are :
- Pace Clock - time to pick up the pace
- Goggles - protect the eyes or are they for oggling?
- Kick Board - want to stretch those stiff shoulders?
- Pull Buoy - what shape would you prefer?
- The Team - have you decided on your mission statement yet?
- Coach Hug - learn how to hug your coach.
- Nutrition - you have to stoke your boilers with the right fuel
